A League Like No Other

The arena (6x6x4 with an OOTA shelf) is in the basement of my home. There will be multiple events. The league will have 4 divisions of 4 teams in each division. Two divisions will attend each event. Each team will fight all members of their own division and two members of a different division. At the end of the season there will be an 8-team double elimination tournament with seeding determined by the team records. This will be a beetleweight competition using the SPARC ruleset with the following exceptions: No flame weapons, 365 gram weight limit on spinning weapons (weapon weight does not include bearings, pulleys or belts/gears…just the spinning metal bits) and weight bonus to be determined by ground speed of the robot instead of the means of locomotion (i.e bot travels at less than or equal to 30 cm per second = 1 lb. and bot travels at less than or equal to 15 cm per second = 2 lbs. Speed = (RPM(Diameter*Pi)/60). 

Each team may field as many bots as they desire. You do not have to fight with the same bot for every match. Teams must declare which bot will fight at least 10 minutes prior to the match. Match length will be 3 minutes with one unstick allowed.
